∴Let the age of Priya be m years and age of Neha be n years respectively.

⌑ Three years ago, their ages —

  • Priya's age = (m – 3)

  • Neha's age = (n – 3)

• As Per Question, we've:

  • Three years ago Priya's age was four times the age of Neha at that time.

4(Neha's age) = Priya's age

➟ 4(n – 3) = (m – 3)

➟ 4n – 12 = m – 3

  • Five years Hence, Priya's age will be twice the age of Neha.
