30 circular plates are each of radius 14cm and thickness 3cm are placed one above the another to form a cylindrical solid. Find its LSA.

LSA of each plate= 2 × pi× radius × height

= 2×22/7×14×3

=264cm^2

Now total LSA of 30 plates= 264×30

=7920 cm^2
