concave mirrors:-

1) reflecting surface is in the inner part of the mirror.

2) image can be real and inverted or virtual and erect.

3) magnification can be either greater, equal or less than 1.

convex mirror:-

1) reflecting surface is at the outer side of the sphere.

2) image is virtual and erect.

3) magnification is always less than 1.
