300 gm of sugar solution has 40% sugar. how much sugar should be added to make it 50% in the solution?

cross multiply
300gm. = 40per cent
(50×300)÷40=50 per cent
375gm.
gm. of sugar solution added = 375 - 300 = 75 gm.
