Here in 1st condition P = 3000 A = 3500 and N = 5 years.
S.I. = A - P = 3500 - 3000 = 500
Now,
S.I. = (P × R × N) / 100
500 = 3000 × R × 5) / 100
Transposing 100 to left
500 × 100 = 15000 × R
Transposing 15000 to Left
50000 / 15000 = R
10 / 3 = R
Now in 2nd condition
R = 10 / 3 , P = 4220 and N = 4 years
Using the Formula.
S.I. = ( P × R × N ) / 10
= (4220 × 10/3 × 4) / 100
= 42200 × 4 / 300
= 168800 / 300
= 562.66 Rs
S.I. = A - P = 3500 - 3000 = 500
Now,
S.I. = (P × R × N) / 100
500 = 3000 × R × 5) / 100
Transposing 100 to left
500 × 100 = 15000 × R
Transposing 15000 to Left
50000 / 15000 = R
10 / 3 = R
Now in 2nd condition
R = 10 / 3 , P = 4220 and N = 4 years
Using the Formula.
S.I. = ( P × R × N ) / 10
= (4220 × 10/3 × 4) / 100
= 42200 × 4 / 300
= 168800 / 300
= 562.66 Rs
