Given Equation is 30xy - 12x + 10y - 4 can be written as

                              2(15xy - 6x + 5y - 2)  --------- (1)

 Factors of 15xy - 6x + 5y - 2 = (15xy + 5y) + (-6x - 2)

                                                = 5y(3x + 1) -2(3x + 1)

                                                = (3x + 1)(5y - 2) ----- (2)

Substitute (2) in (1), we get

30xy - 12xy + 10y - 4 = 2(3x + 1)(5y - 2).

Hope this helps!

EQUATION GIVEN:-
=30xy-12x+10y-4 ----------------(1)

It could be written as:-
=2 (15xy-6x+5y-2) --------------(2)

Further taking only,
=15xy-6x+5y-2 -----------------(3)

Factorising this we get,
=5y (3x+1) -2 (3x+1) --------------(4)

Here we take 3x+1 common and the remaining we join and form one expression...and so we get=

(5y-2) (3x+1)

But this must be equal to 2 (5y-2) (3x+1)
as in second case 2 was taken out....so we now multiply 2 here...

Hope this helps!
