32. A bag has 24 balls. Some are white and
remaining black. If the probability of drawing
a white ball is twice that of drawing a black
ball, find the number of white balls.(with Solution)​

number of white balls = 16

number of black balls = 8

let the no. of black balls be x

white balls=2*x

=2x

therefore,

2x+x=24

3x=24

x=24/3

x=8

white balls =2x

=2*8

=16
