There are 1026 more literate people in the village.

  • The percentage of literate people = 100-32 = 68%
  • Let total x people are in the village
  • So, .68x=1938
  • OR x=1938\.68 = 2850
  • So number of illiterate people = 2850-1938 = 912
  • So number of more literate people than illiterate = 1938-912 = 1026
