Find the change in weight:

Before dried = 320kg

After dried = 88kg

Change in weight = 320 - 88 = 232 kg

.

Find the percentage change:

 \bf {\text{Percentage Change = }\dfrac{\text{Change in weight }}{\text {original weight}} \times 100\%}

 \text{Percentage Change = }\dfrac{\text{232}}{\text {323}} \times 100\% = 72.5 \%

.

Answer: The weight was reduced by 72.5%

sop10: can you explain how 232 is divided by 320
TooFree: It is change/original x 100... let me go in and make the answer clearer.
TooFree: I have edited my answer. I hope it is clearer now.
