Show that the three points are collinear :
(-3,2,4) , (-1,5,9) , (1,8,14)

Just apply the formula of area of triangle and put it in equivalent to 0 if RHS and LHS both is equal to 0 than the points are collinear
This is the easiest way to solve this problem
