Given : Dimensions of one triangular piece (50cm×20cm×50cm)

To find:Area of the cloth used to make the umbrella

Area of one triangular piece =5000cm^2

Now, Area of 12 triangular piece =12×5000=60000cm^2

or it in meters that is : 60m^2

Hence, the area of cloth used to make the umbrella =60m^2
