  • When a body is moving in a circle the direction of motion of the body chages due to which the velocity of the body changes.
  • But the speed of the body remains the same.
  • The first law of motion states that force is required to change the state of a body.
  • In a uniform motion acceleration is zero.
  • Therefore, in a circular motion, the direction of the velocity of the body is changing so the acceleration cannot be zero.
