36 men can complete a price of work in 20 days. In how many days will the work be done if the number of men is reduced to 12​

so 1 men can complete the piece of work in 36 × 20 = 720 days

so 12 men can complete the piece of work in 720/12 = 60 days

Therefore 12 men can complete the same work in 60 days.

you can solve it using formula, M₁D₁ = M₂D₂

here M indicates no of men and D indicates no of days required to complete the work.

here M₁ = 36 , D₁ = 20 , M₂ = 12

so, 36 × 20 = 12 × D₂

⇒D₂ = 60 days

Therefore in 60 days, 12 men complete the work.
