Basically average constituting the result obtained by adding together several amounts and then dividing this total by the number of amounts.

Taking

Ram's age to be x

Shyam's age to be y

John's age to be z

Average of ram's and shyam's age is given to be 65

i.e (x+y)/2=65

x+y=(65*2)

x+y=130

Average of all of theirs age is given to be 53

Therefore (x+y+z)/3=53

(x+y+z)= 53*3

x+y+z= 159

But we know that x+y=130, substituting that in the above equation

130+z=159

z= 159–130

John's age: z= 29.
