The equivalent resistance between A  and B is 2R.

Value of the resistance = R (Given)

In an electrical circuit, resistance is the function of opposition to the current flow and is measured in ohms.

In the given figure the two points on A and two points on B will have the same potential. This is because they are short circuited.

Hence,

Req = R + R

=2R

Therefore, the resistance between A and B will be 2R.
