The answer cannot be determined(D) as we do not if C or D is smaller.

In the question we are given that:-

Amount of A = Amount of C + Amount of D.

Let S(A) denote the amount of A and same for B,C and D.

Hence we're given S(A) = S(C) + S(D).

We're also given that S(B) + S(D) > S(A).

which means that S(B) > S(C).

We're also given that S(A) > S(B).

Hence, from the above equations we can conclude that A has the largest amount.

However we cannot decipher if C or D is the smallest as both of them can and simultaneously satisfy the above equations.

eg. if S(A) = 10, S(C) = 6, S(D) =4 ,S(B) = 7 . It satisfies the equations and C is the smallest.

However S(A) = 10, S(C) = 4, S(D) = 6, S(B) = 7 also satisfies the equations where C is smallest.

Hence the answer cannot be determined.
