Answer:

3a + 4b =43....................(i)

-2a +3b =11.....................(ii)

Multplying (i) by 2 and (ii) by 3,

6a + 8b = 86.................(iii)

-6a + 9b = 33.................(iv)

Adding (iii) and (iv),

6a +8b -6a + 9b = 86+33

17b = 119

b = 7

Substituting value of b in (i),

3a + 4(7) =43

3a + 28 = 43

3a = 43-28

3a = 15

a = 5

Answer:

Question :

3a + 4b =43 and -2a +3b =11 solve by using equation coefficient.

Solution :

3a + 4b = 43______(1)

-2a + 3b = 11______(2)

Multiplying eq. (1) by 2 and eq. (2) by 3

2(3a + 4b) = 2(43)

= 6a + 8b = 86_______(3)

3(-2a + 3b) = 3(11)

= -6a + 9b = 33______(4)

Adding eq. (3) and (4)

6a + 8b + (-6a + 9b) = 86 + 33

=> 6a + 8b - 6a + 9b = 119

=> 17b = 119

=> b = 119/17

=> b = 7

Substituting value of b in eq. (1)

3a + 4b = 43

=> 3a + 4(7) = 43

=> 3a + 28 = 43

=> 3a = 43 - 28

=> 3a = 15

=> a = 15/3

=> a = 5
