Step-by-step explanation:

So in order to do this sum you need to know 2 things

1) taking common from 2 factors

2) A formula : (a-b)^2 = (a+b)(a-b)

Now according to the sum:-

3a^2b^3-27a^4b

=3a^2b(b^2-9a^2) {look 3a^2b is present in both the terms so I took common }

Now we have to use the 2nd formula

=3a^2b{(b)^2 - (3a)^2} [I had put 3 in the second term as 3 square is 9 and I need to come up with the term in such a way so that the 2nd formula can be applied]

now using the second formula,

=3a^2b{(b+3a)(b-3a) } which is just similar to 3a^2b(b+3a)(b-3a)

Hope you understood it because you need to understand it at first before solving or else all concept will be crooked, Have A Great Day!
