(3x+1) = 12+4 (x-1) .

Hola there,

=> (3x + 1) = 12 + 4(x - 1)

=> 3x + 1 = 12 + 4x - 4

=> 4x - 3x + 8 - 1 = 0

=> x + 7 = 0

=> x = - 7

Here's your answer friend,

(3x + 1) = 12 + 4(x - 1)
3x + 1 = 12 + 4x - 4
3x - 4x = 12 - 4 - 1
-x = 7
=> x = -7
