3x + (1 \div x) = 13 \div 2 \\ (3x ?^{2} + 1) \div 2 = 13 \div 2 \\ 3x { }^{2} + 1 = 13 \\ 3x {}^{2} = 12 \\ x {}^{2} = 4 \\ x {}^{2} \\ x = 2

3x+(1/x)=13/2

on taking l.c.m on left hand side we get

(3x²+1)/x=13/2

3x²+1=13x/2

3x²-(13x/2)+1=0

or

6x²-13x+2 =0
here a =6,b=-13,c=2

then 6x²-12x-1x+2=0

6x(x-2)-(x-2)

no be 2
