⭐Solution⭐

given here

3x -12y = 5....(1)

3x +5 y = 2....(2)

Equation (1) - (2),

we get,

- 17x = 3

=> x = -3/17

by (1),

3 × -3/17 - 12y = 5

=> -12y = 5-9/17

=> -12y = (85-9)/17

=> -12y = 76/17

=> y = -76/(17×12)

=>y = -38/104

Thus:-

Value of x = -3/17

Value of y = -38/104

Hopes its help's u.

Answer:

Solution

Step-by-step explanation:

Solve equation [2] for the variable y

[2] y = 5x - 3

// Plug this in for variable y in equation [1]

[1] 3x - 2•(5x-3) = 5

[1] -7x = -1

// Solve equation [1] for the variable x

[1] 7x = 1

[1] x = 1/7

// By now we know this much :

x = 1/7

y = 5x-3

// Use the x value to solve for y

y = 5(1/7)-3 = -16/7
