\Huge{\underline{\underline{\bf{\red{answer}}}}}

3x + 2y = 12 ----------(1)

x - 2y = 4 -----------(2)

adding equation 1 and 2

we get ,

3x + 2y = 12

x - 2y = 12

___________

4x = 24

x =24 / 4

x = 6

putting value of x in eq. 1

3x + 2y = 12

3 × 6 + 2y = 12

18 + 2y = 12

2y = 12 - 18

2y = -6

y = -6 / 2 = -3

y = -3

Hence ,

x = 6

y = -3
