3x + 3y = 6 (2)×3

3x = 2 + 3y (1)

sub in (2)

2 + 3y + 3y =6

6y = 4

3y = 2

Also

3x = 2 + 3y

3x = 2 + 2

3x = 4

 \bold{x =  \frac{4}{3} }
