\huge\bold{Solution}

3x - 4y = 0....(1)

8x - 5y = 10...(2)

Multiply eq(1) by 5 and eq(2) by 4 then we get,

15x - 20y = 0....(1.1)

32x - 20y = 40....(2.1)

By solving eq(1.1) and (2.1) we get,

-17x = -40

x = \dfrac{40}{17}

Put the value of x in equation 1.1 we get,

=> 15 × \dfrac{40}{17} - 20y = 0

=> \dfrac{600}{17} - 20y = 0

=> \dfrac{600 - 140y}{17} = 0

=> 600 - 140y = 0

=> -140y = -600

y = \dfrac{600}{140}

divide the numerator and denominator by 20 we get,

y = \dfrac{30}{7}

So, the value of x and y are \dfrac{40}{17} and \dfrac{30}{7}
