Answer:

3x+4y=11 (eq.1)

x=15-7y (eq.2)

put x=15-7y in eq. 1

3x+4y=11

3(15-7y) +4y=11

45-21y+4y =11

45 - 17y = 11

45 - 11 = 17y

34 =b17y

34/17 = y

2= y

put y=2 in eq. 2

x=15-7y

x=15-7(2)

x=15-14

=1

Answer:

3x + 4y=11

also x=15-7y

Putting x value in the above equation

3(15-7y)+4y=11

45 - 21y + 4y = 11

45 - 17y = 11

45 - 11 = 17y

34 = 17y

y = 2

x= 1
