3x-5x+2 factorise using factor theorm

3x-5x+2 

then 

3x-5x = _2

-2x = -2

2x=2

x=2/2

x=1

and if the question is 3x^2 - 5x + 2

then,

3x^2 -(3+2)x +2  = 0

3x^2 -3x -2x +2  =0

3x(x-1) - 2(x-1)  = 0

(3x-2) (x-1)  = 0

then 

3x= 2 OR  x= 1

and 

x=2/3 OR x= 1

=3x(x-1)-2(x-1)

=(3x-2)(x-1)
