Answer:Solution :-

Here, we have

the given equations are

⇒ 3x - 5y = - 1 ... (i)

⇒ x - y = - 1 .... (ii)

From (ii), we get

⇒ y = x + 1 ..... (iii)

Putting y's value in eq (i), we get

⇒ 3x - 5(x + 1) = - 1

⇒ - 2x - 5 = - 1

⇒ - 2x = 4

⇒ x = 4/- 2

⇒ x = - 2

Putting x's value in Eq (iii), we get

⇒ y = x + 1

⇒ y = - 2 + 1

⇒ y = - 1

Here, x = - 2 and y = - 1

Hence, the solution of the given system of equation is x = - 2, y = - 1.
