Given equation

⇒3x - 5y = 4                    (i)

⇒9x - 2y = 7                    (ii)

To Find

⇒value of x and y by Substitution Method

Now take

⇒3x - 5y= 4

⇒3x = 4+5y

⇒x = (4+5y)/3           (iii)

Now put the value x on (ii) eq

⇒9x - 2y = 7                    (ii)

⇒9(4+5y)/3 - 2y = 7

⇒3(4+5y) - 2y = 7

⇒12 + 15y - 2y = 7

⇒12 + 13y = 7

⇒13y = 7-12

⇒13y = -5

⇒y = -5/13

Now Put the value of y on (iii)eq

⇒x = (4+5y)/3           (iii)

⇒x = (4+5(-5/13))/3

⇒x = (4-25/13)/3

⇒x = (52-25)/39

⇒x = (27)/39 = 9/13

Answer

⇒y = -5/13 and x = 9/13
