3x-7y=5.....(1)

2x-3y=7.....(2)

multiply equation (1) by 2 and eq (2) by 3

6x-14y=10

6x-9y=21

-5y=-11

y= 11/5

put y in equation (1)

3x-7(11/5)=5

3x-77/5=5

3x=5+77/5

3x=25+77/5

3x*5=102

15x=102

x=102/15

Hope ita helps bu

given :- 3x - 7y - 5 = 0

➡ 3x - 7y = 5 -------(i)

and 2x - 3y - 7 = 0

➡ 2x - 3y = 7-------(ii)

applying substitution method,

from equation (i)

➡ 3x - 7y - 5 = 0

➡ 3x - 7y = 5

➡ 3x = 5 + 7y

➡ x = (5 + 7y)/3

putting value of x in equation (ii)

➡ 2[(5 + 7y)/3] - 3y = 7

➡ (10 + 14y)/3 - 3y = 7

➡ (10 + 14y)/3 - 9y/3 = 7

➡ (10 + 14y - 9y)/3 = 7

➡ 10 + 5y = 7 × 3

➡ 5y = 21 - 10

➡ 5y = 11

➡ y = 11/5

putting value of y = 11/5 in (i)

➡ 3x - 7(11/5) = 5

➡ 3x - 77/5 = 5

➡ 15x/5 - 77/5 = 5

➡ 15x - 77 = 25

➡ 15x = 102

➡ x = 102/15 = 34/5

hence, the value of x = 34/5 and y = 11/5
