Given -3x+7y=5x+2y Complete the missing value in the solution to the equation

We need to find the missing value in the solution to the equation.

Given - 3 x + 7 y = 5 x + 2 y

         - 3 x - 5 x = 2 y - 7 y

         - 8 x = - 5 y

          8 x = 5 y

Consider y as 0 as an example

We get 8 x = 5(0)

           8 x = 0

           x = 0

So we can keep (x, y) as (0 , 0)

If we consider y = 1 , then

    8 x = 5

      x = 5/8

So (x, y) will be (5/8 , 1)
