3x⁴+ 4x²y² + y⁴ how to do it​

  • We have a rule in exponents.
  •  {y}^{a}  +  {y}^{b}  =  {y}^{(a + b)}
  • That is if the bases are same and power are different , We have to add the power and put the the base as it is .

= 3x^4+ 4x^2y^2 + y^4

= 3x^4+ 4x^2*y^6

=7x^6*y^6(now powers are same so add the base )

=7x+y^6
