\huge\mathfrak\red{Question:}

Solve : 4 3/10 + 3 3/5 - 3 2/15

\huge\mathfrak\blue{Solution:}

4 3/10 + 3 3/5 - 3 2/15

Convert the mixed fractions to improper fractions.

=> 43/10 + 18/5 - 32/15

Taking the L.C.M of denominators 10, 5 and 15, we get 30.

And to make the denominators equal to 30, multiply the denominators as well as the numerators with the required number, i.e.,

=> (43×3 / 10×3) + (18×6 + 5×6) - (32×2 / 15×2)

=> 129/30 + 108/30 - 64/30

=> 173/30
