 \\  =  \frac{4}{3}  + 3y = 14 \\  \\  = 3y = 14 -  \frac{4}{3}  \\  \\  = y =  \frac{1}{3} ( \frac{42 - 4}{3} ) \\  \\  = y =  \frac{38}{9}

now.
 \\  =  \frac{3}{x}  - 4y = 23 \\  \\  =  \frac{3}{x}  - (4 \times  \frac{38}{9})  = 23 \\  \\  =  \frac{3}{x}  = 23 +  \frac{152}{9}  \\  \\  =  \frac{3}{x}  =  \frac{207 + 152}{9}  \\  \\  =  \frac{1}{x}  =  \frac{359}{27}  \\  \\  = x =  \frac{27}{359}
