4(3p + 5) - 3(2p + 7) + 9 = 10 \\ 12p + 20 - 6p - 21 + 9 = 10 \\ 12p - 6p + 20 - 21 + 9 = 10 \\ 6p + 8 = 10 \\ 6p = 10 - 8 \\ 6p = 2 \\ p = \frac{2}{6} \\ p = \frac{1}{3} \\ p = 0.33
