EXPLANATION.

Quadratic equation.

⇒ 4x²/3 - 2x + 2 = 0.

As we know that,

Simplify the equation, we get.

⇒ 4x² - 6x + 6/3 = 0.

⇒ 4x² - 6x + 6 = 0.

Taking 2 as common, we get.

⇒ 2(2x² - 3x + 3) = 0.

⇒ 2x² - 3x + 3 = 0.

As we know that,

⇒ D = Discriminant  or  b²  - 4ac.

⇒ D = (-3)² - 4(2)(3).

⇒ D = 9 - 24.

⇒ D = -15.

⇒ α = - b + √D/2a.

⇒ α = -(-3) + √-15/2(2).

⇒ α = 3 + √-15/4.

⇒ β = - b - √D/2a.

⇒ β = -(-3) - √-15/2(2).

⇒ β = 3 - √-15/4.

In this equation D < 0 It means Roots are imaginary.

MORE INFORMATION.

Conjugate roots.

(1) = If D < 0.

One roots = α + iβ.

Other roots = α - iβ.

(2) = If D > 0.

One roots = α + √β.

Other roots = α - √β.
