18

Step by step explanation=

4/(5-1)*2+16

On opening the bracket=

4/4*2+16

According to BODMAS rule, we'll first do the division,if we divide 4/4,answer will be 1

On dividing;

4/4*2+16

=1*2+16

We're done with division.Now coming to multiplication (according to BODMAS rule),If we multiply 1 with 2, we'll get 2;

On multiplying:

2*1=1

Now the equation has got smaller,our equation is now;

2+16

When we'll add 2 with 16, we'll get 18.

Hence proven that

4/(5-1)*2+16=18

Hope it helped:-)
