First understand the question.

Let the total students in class be 5/5.
It is said that 4/5 of it is boys and girls are 200. so it means that 1/5 of the class is girls which is 200. So we can write in this form:

1/5 Of total number of children is 200

1/5*x=200
1/5x = 200
200*5=1000

so the total number of children is 1000.

So now lets find the number of boys:

4/5*1000
4000/5=800

So the total number of boys is 800
