Given:

\frac{4}{6} - \frac{15}{6}

We see that both the value has same denominator, that is 6

So to solve it we have to write denominator 6 at a one time only

=\frac{4-15}{6}

And subtract 4 from -15

=\frac{-11}{6}

We get the value ion negative sign because of -15

Hence the answer is -11/6

Answer:

we need to subtract the given  fractions : 4/6-15/6

as we know that for performing  subtraction of fraction we cross multiply the denominators of both the fractions, but here we see that both the value has same denominator, that is 6  so to solve it we have to write denominator 6 common for both the numerators and subtract numerator 15 from 4.

that is , \frac{4 - 15 }{6}

          = \frac{-11}{6}

we get negative value as it is the sign of bigger number i.e, (-15 )

  Hence the answer is -11/6
