Multiply ( 1 ) by 100 , we get

100x= 475.666....---( 2 )

Now ,

multiply ( 2 ) by 10 , we get

1000x = 4756.666...---( 3 )

Subtract ( 2 ) from ( 3) , we

get

900x = 4281

=> x = 4281/900

=> x = 1427/300

Therefore ,

x = 4.756666...

= 1427/300
