Lets take 4/9 and - 1 /3 first.
L.C.M = 9
4 / 9 - 1 × 3/ 3 × 3
4 / 9 - 3 / 9 = 1 / 9
Now 1 / 9 + 7 / 8
L.C.M = 72
1 × 8 / 9 × 8 + 7 × 9 / 8 × 9
8 / 72 + 63 / 72
= 71 / 72
71 / 72 = 5x / 3
Cross multiply
213 = 360x
x = 213 / 360
