Answer:

A, B, C can do the work in 39 days

Step-by-step explanation:

First of all,, Let....

A+B=18. ---- 1 st eqn.

Next,, let....

B+C=24 ---- 2nd eqn.

Lastly,, let....

C+A=36 ----3rd eqn.

Now add the three equations.. Then we get....

A+B+B+C+C+A = 18+24+36

2(A+B+C) = 78

Then finally...

A+B+C = 39

So three of them will complete the work in 39 days..

☞︎︎︎ Time taken by,

(A+B) to finish the work = 18 days

(A + B) 1 day's work = 1 / 18

☞︎︎︎ Time taken by,

(B+C) to finish the work = 24 days

(B+ C) 1 day's work = 1 / 24

☞︎︎︎ Time taken by,

(C+A) to finish the work = 36 days.

(C+ A) 1 day's work = 1 / 36

☟︎︎︎ Therefore,

2(A + B + C)'s 1 day's work

= 1/18 + 1/24 + 1/36

= 4+3+2 / 72

= 9/72

= 1/8

☞︎︎︎ (A + B + C)'s 1 day's work

= 1/2 × 1/8

= 1 / 16 .........✪
