4. A copper wire is bent in the shape of a square of each side 11 cm. If the
same wire is bent in the form of a circle, find the radius of circle.

Side of squre = 11cm

Perimeter of squre= 4×11= 44cm

Circumference of circle= 2×pi×r

44=2×pi×r

44÷2=pi×r Note:pi=22÷7 or 3.14

22=(22÷7)×r

r=(7÷22)÷22

r=7

So,diameter =7×2=14
