4. A swimming pool is 15 m in length, 12 m in breadth and 2 m in depth. Find the cost of cementing the floor and walls at the rate of 15 per sq. m.​

⇒ Area of Floor = Length × Breadth

⇒ Area of Floor = 15 × 12

⇒ Area of Walls = 2h ( l + b )

⇒ Area of Walls = 2 × 2 ( 15 + 12 )

⇒ Area of Walls = 4 × 27

⇒ Area of Walls = 108m²

Total Area to be Cemented

⇒ Total Area = Area of floor + Area of Walls

⇒ Total Area = 180 + 108

⇒ Total Area = 288m²

Cost of Cementing

⇒ Cost = 288 × 15
