A].they all belongs to 13 th group of the 'p'block elements . they are semi metals or metalloids . they all have valency 3 in their valence shell.

B] they all belongs to 17th group i.e called halogens . they all have valency 7 and needs only one electron to complete their octate . they all are non metals .
