The difference between the costs of bottle and plates is Rs. 9.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given, 4 bottles and 3 plates are cost Rs. 153

  1. Let one bottle be X and one plate be Y
  2. Cost of one plate is 50% more than the cost of one bottle.

\Rightarrow 4X+3Y=153

And Y = X + \frac{50}{100} \times X

\Rightarrow Y=1.5 \times X

Then,

\Rightarrow 4X+3 \times 1.5 \times X=153

\Rightarrow 8.5 \times X=153

\Rightarrow  X= \frac{153}{8.5}

\Rightarrow  X= 18

Then, Y=1.5 \times 18

\Rightarrow Y=27

The difference between the costs of one bottle and plate = Y - X

                                                                                                 =27 - 18

                                                                                                  = Rs. 9

The difference between the costs of 4 bottles and 3 plates = 3Y - 4X

                                                                                              = 3 \times 27- 4 \times 18

                                                                                              =81 - 72

                                                                                              = Rs. 9
