if many people want the same thing, it usually means pollution. there is an overwhelmingly high request for clothes and way too few customers, in the sense that the demand for clothes is lower than the amount of purchases. that creates stagnation and over-production, then there is a “need” for less-costly processes and cheap plantation care. hence all the pesticides, lack of controls during the process of producing and treating clothes (additives, chemical dyes etc.) and on top of that thousands of people get paid what you pay for a single McChicken in a month while risking death and health complications. I try to buy as much vintage and used clothes as possible, and I learned how to sew partially due to this. we need to raise awareness and re-learn to give higher value to what we wear.

Well, nice question ! According to my viewpoint there are disadvantages of fashion but in today's modern world there are many advantages also.

Becoz of fashion most of the people forgot about the tradition which is followed by thier parents and has been going on since ages but becoz of fashion the new generation are not following even forgot their age old practices .

Well it's my view point ! For some it may differ also.
