1) taxation in Doab - Muhammad bin Tuglaq wanted to expand his territory. To do so he needed well equipped army. So, he increased tax in Ganga-Yamuna Doab region. The region was very fertile so the farmers could easily pay the tax. However, this law was imposed at the time of famine. This caused rebellions.

2)the shifting of capital- as it was difficult to control the Deccan from Delhi,he decided to shift the capital without consulting anyone. The shift brought ruin of Delhi. People were so inconvenienced by this move that many did not have the strength to complete the journey and died on the way.

3)bronze currency-there was a shortage of silver for currency. So, Muhammad bin Tuglaq decided to issue bronze coins. The cheap coins were used in trade and posed a severe challenge. People even started making their own coins, and it became difficult to differentiate between them.this impacted the treasury.
