verify the identity (a-b)2=a2-2ab+ b2 where a=6m b=5m​

Answer:

LHS = (a-b)^2

= (6-5)^2

= 1^2

= 1

RHS =a2-2ab+ b2

= 6^2-2.6.5+ 5^2

= 36-60+25

=61-60

=1

Thus, LHS =RHS proved.

(a-b)^2=a^2-2ab+b^2

Proof:       (6m-5m)^2 =  (6m)^2 - 2(6m)(5m) + (5m)^2

                 m^2 = 36m^2 - 60m^2 +  25m^2

                  m^2 = 61m^2 - 60m^2

                   m^2 = m^2

                Hence Proved.
