The pressure exerted by the oxygen gas at 298 K is equal to 3.058 atm .

Using the ideal gas equation ( PV = nRT ) to find the pressure of oxygen under the given conditions -

P = pressure of the gas

n= no.of moles of oxygen = 4/32 = 0.125

V= Volume of oxygen = 1L

T = Temperature = 298 K

R = universal gas constant = 0.0821

=> P = nRT / V

=> P = (0.125 * 0.0821 * 298) / 1

=> P = 3.058 atm

Pressure exerted by oxygen gas = 3.058 atm
