Explanation:

If the leaves of a money plant are coated with oil, then stomata present on the surface of leaf gets blocked. Transpiration occurs through stomata so transpiration would be negatively affected and that would lead to an inefficient absorption of water by roots leading to water deficiency in plants

condition wise

Explanation:

if we paint a money plant completely after few days the plant will die as the paint might contain certain pigments which could destroy the stomata or even the chlorophyll

the plant will die

If we instead painted apart or simply some leaves the plant will survive by developing new leaves too.

Specifically and scientifically if we were to prove that sunlight it is necessary for plant growth the same apparatus will work else for the case of transpiration we would require only a leaf to be covered with paint after that we would notice the amount of transpiration continues to decrease and the coloured part even it may come to 0% after some days this proves that plant will transpire if the stomata is left open or even through lenticels which is also present in the leaves too.
